As a recruiter, there was little that would make me roll my eyes harder than when someone would place a language skill on their resume and not be able to back it up in the interview. I also hate when people think the answer to being good at a language is classroom learning. Sure, that's very helpful, but that only takes you so far - there is so much more that needs to be invested, and the investment comes from you, not a teacher. I've worked hard to keep my language skills fresh, and in the video below I give you my top three tips on how I did it.
