Let's Do a Contest!

I'm excited to get the word out about my blog, so I'm sponsoring a fun contest! The rules are that anyone who is subscribed to my blog on Halloween will be eligible to win, so if you're not already subscribed, make sure you head over to that little box on the right side of the blog, enter your email address and sign up!

You can also get extra entries for sending your friends over! All you have to do is visit my posts on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn and tag your friends in the post. If they reply that they subscribed, your name will be put into the drawing again. There are no limits on the number of entries you can get, so bring everyone over!

But let's answer the big question - what can you win? I've got three great books for you:

1. Daring Greatly by Brene Brown: This book was an absolute game changer for me, and still goes down in history as a book that helped me handle my work, my relationships and my image of myself better than I ever had before. It's one that I've recommended to many people before, and I've got a post about it coming up next week.

2. Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell: Malcom Gladwell is a truly revelatory thinker, and his book Outliers is one that has gotten a great deal of attention for how it helps people think differently about those who achieve unbelievable success. We often regard extraordinary individuals as very distinct from ourselves, but through his writing, Gladwell shows us how we, too, can be extraordinary, and for the types of careers and achievements we want, I think there is no greater lesson.

3. We're All Okay: A Millennial's Treatise by Michelle Petrazzuolo: You see what I did there? No collection of book recommendations would be complete without me suggesting you check out my own book, of course. As it turns out, people aren't done having completely ridiculous conversations about Millennials, such as how we can't afford houses because of what we order at breakfast, or suggesting that we're killing businesses rather than rightly suggesting businesses are failing to respond to consumer demand. I could write for an hour about this, and I'm sure I'll write on the blog about it at some point, but for now, why not win a copy of the book?

Please feel free to put any questions in the comments, but for now, subscribe to enter, and tell your friends to get extra entries! And current subscribers, don't worry - you're already in!
